The Drone company must be authorized to provide aerial photography (aerial works) by competent authority of your State. You have to follow requirements listed in the Air Information Publication of the Slovak republic: The aerial photography is a form of Aerial Works and may be performed by companies holding permission for Aerial Works only. Aerial Works permission holders operate approved aircraft and their personnel is duly qualified and authorized to do so. It is not distinguished whether it is performed by a standard or non-profit (revenues used in a special regime) company. In addition to that, it is requested by law, that aerial photography may be performed after obtaining consent from the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic. In your case it means, that you have to send your application to the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic to get permission for aerial photography. For execution of other than transport flight of a foreign operator in relation to the territory of the Slovak Republic the permission of the Transport Authority is needed. The following published requirements apply for the issue of the requested permission to be granted by the Transport Authority: Aeronautical Information Publication of the Slovak Republic: GEN 1.2.1.3.1.4.1 The applications for permissions of non-scheduled flights of foreign civil aircraft mentioned para. GEN 1.2.1.3.1.4.3 The application shall include: a) name and address of the aircraft operator, b) type of aircraft and its registration mark, c) insurance certificate of liability insurance with respect to damages caused by operation of aircraft, d) place and purpose of flight and its duration, e) valid documents issued by relevant aviation authority of the state of registry, f) certificate of administrative charges settlement in the amount of 200,00 Û, g) for aerial photography and aerial film previous permission of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic is necessary. Duration of issue procedures depends on the completeness and readability of submitted documents and the complexity of the issue. It is also necessary to submit copies of valid documents of the operator - Aerial Works Permit including the Operations Specification with types of aircraft and relevant operation conditions, their registrations, insurance certificates, etc. Permission from the Ministry of Defence must be included in your application as published in the AIP of the Slovak Republic. Other relevant permissions must be solved prior to the issue of the Transport Authority permission. Legislation of the Slovak Republic must be observed when air operations are carried out in the airspace of the Slovak Republic.
